After two years of COVID constraints, the charitable reuse and recycling sector is finally getting together face-to-face at the Charitable Recycling Australia National Conference in Sydney at the Novotel Sydney Central on 17-18 October 2022.

It’s live and in person, because nothing beats an experiential face-to-face event. We’re all craving the human interaction of real people in real life, the chance to share new ideas, the stimulation to learn, the need to get together to discuss disruption … and move beyond COVID-insularity to begin shaping and inspiring a new agenda for the future.

We have the Novotel’s entire ballroom booked for the biggest event in three years. Registration is now open, so make sure you join your peers and all the leaders of the charitable reuse and recycling sector in Sydney on 17-18 October 2022.

There’s even a cocktail party on the Sunday prior, and an industry dinner on the Monday with music and dancing so we can party like it’s 2019!

This year’s theme is INSPIRATION 4 TRANSFORMATION

This year’s theme is designed to inspire us, energise us and elevate us to set a future agenda of transformation in reuse, in recycling and in retail. The conference is an antidote to move us out of the malaise of the past two years and create a positive gateway to the future.

Two amazing global keynote speakers are flying into Sydney to set the tone for the 2022 conference. Brussels-based Jana Zurkova of RREUSE will share European insights on why Australia needs strong policy and funding for reuse, and London-based Robin Osterley of Charity Retail Association will share how charity shops in the UK have created a cool vintage status.

Hon James Griffin MP, NSW Minister for Environment is giving the Opening Address, to be followed by a powerful, engaging line up of over 30 speakers and panelists, to lead us out of the constraints of COVID and into a brighter future.

This is a must-attend event for every leader in our sector, and every organisation and government committed to supporting it. Don’t miss out. This is the one event you need to attend in person.
